Tried to re-create Daft Punk’s cover art for their latest album inside of Cinema 4D without any compositing, plug-ins, or light kits. Just basic C4D lights and straight render out. I got pretty close, but still would need some compositing. Although I learned a bunch playing with all the light settings!
